Our policy is to work the accounts with a combination of telephone calls, letters and lawsuits where applicable. Utilizing the FACS computer software, accounts are brought to the attention of a collector based on a combination of collector scheduled initiative and time requirements set in the system by management. The order in which these collection tools may fall depends largely upon the debtor that owes the debt and the type of information received from your office.

Provided we either have a telephone number furnished by your office or can obtain one from our area wide telephone books and cross reference books, we will make telephone calls at various times during the day. In searching for the debtor within our computer system we can ask for all debtors with the same name, all debtors living at the same address, debtors with the same social security number, debtors with the same driver's license and all with identical telephone numbers. In addition, we rely heavily on the extensive filing network developed by our national credit reporting system to search for skips. There is no management preset minimum account balance to preclude skip tracing.

Upon reaching the consumer, the problem of nonpayment is addressed. At the proper time a demand for payment in full will be made and should this fail, a suitable payment arrangement will be attempted.

Should the debtor refuse to cooperate and provided we can obtain an employment or a bank account number, we will ask you for permission to sue the debtor. Following a successful suit, we will garnish the debtor's salary or bank account.
